Apartment hunting can be both fun and challenging! Finding an apartment that’s affordable, in a good location and up to your living standards are just the first things you need to worry about when choosing the perfect apartment. Whether you’re a first-time apartment renter, or you’ve been in the game for a while, you’ll want to ask some important questions before you sign a lease and collect your keys. We’ve put together the top twelve questions renters should ask property managers BEFORE signing a lease.

What are the lease terms?

What does it cost to move in?

Prices vary and are subject to change without notice.

Are utilities included in the cost?

No, they will be an additional cost.

What's your pet policy?

$300 pet deposit per pet, limit 2 per household with a $50 monthly pet rent per pet.

What is your guest policy?

Overnight guests are not to exceed over 7 nights during a calendar month.

Do you require apartment renters insurance?

Yes

How do I pay the rent?

Residents will have access to an online payment portal or may make their payment in the leasing office.

How are repairs taken care of, especially in an emergency?

Residents will have access to submitting a service request through the online payment portal or contact the leasing office. Repairs are made within 24-72 hours. There is an after-hours on-call number that can be contacted to dispatch one of our technicians.

Is there public transportation nearby?

Yes, there is a Metrolink Station within walking distance.

How often does rent go up? By how much?

Possibly yearly, increase amounts are to be determined.

What is the parking situation?

1 bedrooms will received one pre-assigned space, 2 bedrooms will receive 2 pre-assigned spaces which are tandem style parking. 1 additional single space is $75 monthly, and a tandem 2 parking space is $100 monthly, subject to availability.

Are there plans to update the building?

Apartment interior renovations are in progress.

Is there a penalty for breaking my lease?

We require a 60 day notice to vacate and lease breakage fee of 2X the amount of the base rent.
